Parks & Green Spaces
Port Laken's parks are living parts of our environmental commitment — maintained as natural habitats, community gathering spaces, and green corridors throughout the city.
Elm Street Park
Elm Street Park is one of Port Laken’s newest public spaces, transforming a former industrial lot into a welcoming green area. The park features paved walking trails, a native plant garden that supports local wildlife, and a covered pavilion for small gatherings and community events.
Lakeview Waterfront Park
Lakeview Waterfront Park offers scenic shoreline access with open views of the water and surrounding landscape. Spanning several acres, the park includes picnic areas, a public boat launch, a fishing pier, and a restored wetland trail designed to protect and showcase the area’s natural habitat.
Riverside Community Garden
Riverside Community Garden is a shared green space that brings residents together through urban agriculture and sustainability. The site includes over 80 garden plots, a composting station, a tool shed, and space for seasonal workshops that support local food education and community engagement.
